Vyacheslav Senchenko, a former world champion and now a successful coach, told how things are going with the organization of the fight between his ward Karen Chukhadzhyan and British Harry Scarff. According to the specialist, the parties have not yet agreed on the fight, which will have the status of a contender welterweight according to the IBF version.
“The promotional auction will take place on February 15th in New York. Let's see how they go first. Our team is now trying to reach an agreement without an auction. But as far as I understand, the British side did not agree with the proposed conditions. And the date for the fight could not be agreed upon either. We proposed on March 16th. It seems they are not too happy with it. I think everything will be decided at the auction...,” said the specialist.
