Brook on postponing the fight between Usik and Fury: “The cut is good luck for Tyson”

Former world welterweight champion British Kell Brook spoke about the postponement of the fight between his compatriot Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Alexander Usik.

The fight was scheduled for February 17 in Riyadh, but was postponed due to a cut received by the “Gypsy King” during sparring. Now the boxers are scheduled to meet on March 18 there.

“At this stage, looking at Fury, I want to say that the cut is good luck for him. I heard rumors that Tyson didn't look too good in training camp. In the sparring, where he received a cut, Tyson also looked unconvincing. So the more time he has to train, the better. But only if Fury is completely focused, and it’s difficult mentally to do that,” Brook said in an interview with Boxing King Media.
