Groves is confident that the fight between Usik and Fury will fall through once again

Former world super middleweight champion George Groves spoke about the postponement of the fight for all titles in the heavyweight division between Alexander Usik And Tyson Fury.

The fight between the Ukrainian and the British was supposed to take place on February 17 in Riyadh, but was canceled due to a cut the latter received during sparring. The boxers are now scheduled to meet on May 18th.

“Do I think this confrontation will take place in May? No. When this fight was scheduled, I thought: “I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

After the Ngannou fight, I thought: “There is no chance that Fury’s next opponent will be Usyk.” Then they said that it was supposed to happen on December 23, and then quickly announced that they were going to fight in February,” the Briton said in an interview with the YouTube channel Boxing News 24.
