Gaethje reacted to Fiziev’s daring statement

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje could not ignore the last words of his former rival Rafael Fiziev.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani fighter said that the American ran from him around the Octagon for two rounds until he poked him in the right eye.

“It doesn’t look very good. I hit him so hard that he forgot which eye the poke was in. I set your right eye on fire with my right hand, guy,” Gaethje wrote on his X page.

Let us remember that Gaethje and Fiziev shared the cage in March last year at the UFC 286 tournament in London. The fight lasted all three rounds, following which all the judges unanimously declared the American the winner.
