Lomachenko named his immediate goals in boxing

Famous Ukrainian boxing veteran Vasily Lomachenko made it clear that he had not given up his desire to become an absolute world champion.

The 35-year-old boxer can take the first step towards his goal on May 12 in Perth, Australia, where he will compete for the vacant IBF lightweight champion belt with George Kambosos.

“I’m really excited to be back and really excited to be there. See you on May 12th. This is the next chance to become world champion again. And I've never been to Australia. I've always wanted to go there, and this is a good chance.

My goal now is to become world champion again. After this, I will be able to start thinking about the title of absolute champion again,” Lomachenko said at a press conference.
