“He pulled me backstage.” Groves spoke about Fury's claims due to the forecast for the fight with Usyk

Former world champion in second middleweight, British George Groves repeatedly called the Ukrainian Alexandra Usika favorite for the upcoming fight with his compatriot Tyson Fury.

Apparently, the “Gypsy King” did not like this very much - at one point Groves even had to justify himself for his opinion.

“One day, Fury pulled me backstage and asked me why I was choosing Usyk: “Why do you think he’ll beat me?” To which I replied: “Tyson, someone has to choose him,” Groves said in an interview with DAZN.

Let us remind you that Fury and Usyk will fight on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At stake in the meeting will be the title of absolute world heavyweight champion.
