"Screaming idiot." Rockhold remembers sparring with Strickland

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold remembered how he once had a chance to spar with another ex-title holder Sean Strickland.

“He was acting like a loudmouth asshole and I was like, ‘Who the hell is this dude?’ I was in a bad mood, I was pissed off about everything, and I thought, ‘Damn, I’ll spar with this guy. I can’t stand it.”

He's quite cunning. I went to the toilet, wrapped a paper towel around my teeth, making something like a damp school mouth guard, and sparred. It was competitive sparring and I would love to do it again,” Rockhold said in an interview with the JAXXON Podcast.
