Hill warns Pereira: 'MMA is not kickboxing'

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamal Hill left a menacing message for the current title holder Alexa Pereira.

“Alex is a great kickboxer. He showed everyone that he can win, but MMA is not kickboxing. I've been dominating kickboxers ever since I entered the gym. I have always sparred with professionals. There were no amateurs.

Whoever is the champion, when I return, he will become my opponent. So I will fight Pereira. There’s no doubt about it,” Middle Easy quotes Hill as saying.

Let us remember that in January last year, Hill won the vacant title, defeating Glover Teixeira on points. In the summer, the American suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and resigned as champion.
