Hooker wants to share octagon with Dariush

New Zealand UFC lightweight Dan Hooker stated that he would like to fight with the American Beneil Dariush at one of the promotion tournaments in June.

“Beneil Dariush. I want to fight him in June. I heard that the UFC is planning to return to Australia at the beginning of the year. It would be cool to perform close to home. Beneil is higher than me in the rankings, but he lost his last two fights, so let's do it.

Dariush said in an interview that he wants to see if he is still capable of performing at a high level. Well, I can test you, brother. Let’s check it out,” Hooker was quoted as saying by MMA News.

Let's remember that Hooker is on a two-fight winning streak. The New Zealander was scheduled to take on Bobby Green in November but pulled out due to a hand injury.
