White called a fair score for the Strickland-Du Plessis fight

UFC CEO Dana White commented on the result of the fight between Sean Strickland And Dricus Du Plessis, which took place on the night of January 21 at the UFC 297 tournament in Toronto.

Let us remind you that Du Plessis won a split decision (47-48, 48-47, 48-47) and became the new middleweight champion of the promotion. White said he agreed with judge Sal D'Amato's score, which saw Strickland win.

“Before the last round, I was 2-2. And I think Strickland took the final round. But it was a close fight,” the functionary said at a press conference.
