Du Plessis calls out Adesanya after defeating Strickland

Newly crowned UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis commented on the victory over Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 297 in Toronto.

“How do you like my championship rounds? Who said I'm not a five-round fighter? Sean, you're a damn awesome guy. Thank you for bringing out the best in me. Who is next? I saw Alex Pereira go into the cage and I thought, “Here we go again.” Adesanya, get your ass back in the UFC!” - Du Plessis said in the Octagon after the fight.

Let us remember that Du Plessis defeated Strickland by split decision (47-48, 48-47, 48-47).
