UFC middleweight title contender Dricus Du Plessis stated that he would be ready to fight with Israel Adesanya at the UFC 300 tournament in case of victory over the champion Sean Strickland in the upcoming fight.
“One thing I learned from the Robert Whittaker fight is that you can’t talk about the next fight too early because you’ll get torn apart later if you can’t take that fight.
However, it would be great to fight Adesanya at UFC 300, it would be a historic event. Big tournament, big fee. And it would be great to give the fans the fight they want,” the South African was quoted as saying by BJ Penn.
Let us remind you that the fight between Strickland and Du Plessis will take place on the night of January 21 at UFC 297 in Toronto.
