O'Malley explained why he wants to beat Topuria and not Volkanovski

Sean O'Malley, UFC bantamweight champion, explained why he wants to fight Ilia Topuria, not with Alex Volkanovski.

“The thing is Volkanovski is a great guy. But Elijah is easy to dislike. Fighting is a strange sport. I always looked at them as chess, but you still have to have the desire to beat someone. And I really want to beat Topuria, so this just makes it easier for me,” O’Malley said.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between Volkanovski and Topuria will headline UFC 298, which will take place on February 17.
