“Beterbiev was found to have ‘atypical results’ of elevated levels of growth hormone and the testosterone metabolite 5D-androstanediol during a VADA doping test on December 6 before his fight against Callum Smith. However, both substances occur naturally in the body, and the “atypical result” is not a disorder,” Iole wrote in X.

It is noted that all subsequent VADA tests were negative, so the fight will take place as planned.
