Sterling will not return to bantamweight

Aljamain Sterling, the former UFC bantamweight champion, said he will not return to the division and plans to surprise the world at featherweight.

“You can say that I finished competing in the bantamweight division. 135 pounds is gone. Even last time I didn’t want to do weights. The bantamweight division is over. I'm very happy to be back in the Octagon. I think that’s the most important thing. I'm definitely nervous because I'm used to being a bigger guy, even though I don't get that big when I hydrate at 135, but I think I left something in the gym by cutting down to 135, so I wanted to “I want to see what I can do at 145 pounds and I’m going to shock the world,” Sterling said.

Let us remind you that Sterling will fight his next fight on April 13 at UFC 300 with Calvin Kattar.
