Dana White, UFC CEO, explained why Charles Oliveira will fight with Arman Tsarukyan, and not the promotion's lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

“Charles Oliveira will fight Arman Tsarukyan in a challenger fight. Oliveira was scheduled to fight the champion, Islam Makhachev, but Islam is still recovering from injury. The winner will meet Islam when he returns this summer,” the functionary said.
