Porter named the best boxer of 2023

Two-time world champion and commentator Shawn Porter named the best boxer of the outgoing year. The specialist made his choice in favor of the owner of all belts in the second bantamweight division Naoi Inoue.

“I decided to go abroad and choose Naoya Inoue. “I choose it because of the activism,” Porter said on his podcast.

Let us remember that in 2023, Inoue won early victories over Stephen Fulton and Marlon Tapales. These two fights were enough for the 30-year-old Japanese to collect all the titles in the up to 55.3 kg category.
