Thomson - about a possible fight between Makhachev and Edwards: “I’m scared for Islam”

Former mixed martial artist, now analyst Josh Thomson discussed the topic of a potential fight between the UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards and the title holder of the division below Islam Makhachev.

“In this battle I am afraid for Islam. Edwards' speed, his ability to get takedowns... I'm afraid Makhachev will end up on his back. “I know Islam prides itself on being translation-proof, but Leon has proven time and time again that he can translate the best wrestlers,” Thomson said on the Weighing In podcast.
