Covington called himself the only fighter supported by the US President

Welterweight Colby Covington called himself the only fighter for whom the US President is rooting. Colby is likely referring to Donald Trump, the former President of the United States.

“In this division, I did things that no one will ever repeat. I am the only fighter who has ever visited the White House and communicated with a sitting president. I am the only fighter for whom the president is rooting. Cheered me on before I went into the Octagon,” Covington said.
