Covington wants to become governor of Florida

Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington admitted that he dreams of building a career in politics.

“I have a brain, so I can achieve what I want. I want to one day go into politics and fight for my ideals. I want to become a congressman and get into the Senate. Maybe become governor of Florida. This is my main goal - to become the head of our amazing state,” Covington is quoted as saying by MMA Junkie.

Let us remind you that on December 16, at the UFC 296 tournament, Covington failed his third attempt to become a full-fledged champion, losing by unanimous decision to Leon Edwards.
