UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja shared his opinion about Colby Covington, who last weekend failed in his third attempt to become the undisputed champion in the welterweight division.
“I don’t think Colby deserved this chance. He achieved this with his chatter. Although he probably deserves it because he talks and he sells pay-per-view, which is good for me. I don't know if it's good for him, but he made money for me and Edwards. I think Leon can be happy about that,” Pantoja said on The MMA Hour podcast.
Let us remind you that last weekend at the UFC 296 tournament, Covington lost on points to Leon Edwards. Pantoja defeated Brandon Royval by unanimous decision at the same event.
