Wallin explained why the Joshua-Wilder fight will not take place

Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin believes that Saudi investors rushed to set a preliminary date for the fight between the former division leaders Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.

Let us remind you that on December 23, at a boxing evening in Riyadh, Joshua will fight with Wallin, and Wilder will meet with Joseph Parker. In case of victory, the British and American will fight head-to-head on March 9 there.

“People keep asking me about the fight between Joshua and Wilder on March 9th. That is, in two and a half months. I’m saying right now that this fight will not happen. I'm sorry. “I know people want to see him, but Joshua made a mistake when he picked me as his opponent,” Wallin said in an interview with Boxing News 24.
