“I don’t want to say that Joshua and I will meet 100%, but 75% yes. He’s afraid of me, but our fight has never been so close,” he said Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) in an interview with the BBC.

They Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) will appear at the big boxing night in Riyadh in just four days. Joseph Parker (33-3, 23 KOs) will meet with Wilder, and Otto Wallin (26-1, 14 KOs) - with A.J. The prerequisite is that both must win. If that happens, Wilder and Joshua even have a tentative date booked by the Saudis for March 9th.

“Joshua has lost the respect of the heavyweights that he once had. After three defeats, others already know that he can be defeated and no one is afraid of him anymore. This must be hard for him. If he beats Wallin and I beat Parker, we can put on a great show. Over the years, especially in boxing, I have learned that nothing is certain until it is truly certain, but we have never been as far along in negotiations as we are now,” states “The Bronze Bomber.”

“Money was never the real problem, but only Joshua’s lack of courage and will for this meeting. In fact, I don’t even blame him, but rather his team. The truth is that Joshua has been a cash cow for many for many years. So all these years, not only was Joshua afraid of me, but also his promoter. However, today we are closer to the fight than ever,” Wilder added.
