Pimblett explained why he entered the fight with Ferguson with pigtails

Paddy Pimblett, a UFC lightweight, revealed why he changed his image ahead of the promotion's 296th event.

“When I play MMA video games, I create a character with pigtails. Why did I do this? I'm tired of people screaming about a knockdown after every hit. “They hit him, they hit him!” No, guys, my hair just moved a little. There was no hit. It's a little tactical trick - now I don't have to lift my chin higher to see my opponent. The hair doesn’t get into the eyes, so with the braids I pressed my chin closer,” said the Briton.

Let us remember that at UFC 296, Pimblett won by decision against Tony Ferguson.
