Edwards: Covington always blames others for his losses

UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards explained why he considers the former holder of the temporary belt Colby Covington coward.

“He is a coward and has always been a coward. He continues to make excuses even though he lost the fight. I won victory. Even when Usman knocked him out and broke his jaw, he shifted the blame to referee Mark Goddard. When he loses, it's always someone else's fault,” Edwards said at a press conference.

As a reminder, Edwards defeated Covington via unanimous decision on December 16th. The fight headlined UFC 296 in Las Vegas.
