Covington vowed to make Edwards surrender

Colby Covington, a contender for the UFC welterweight championship belt, spoke about the upcoming fight with Leon Edwards, the promotion's welterweight champion.

“This fight is much easier than with Usman. Usman was much more versatile than Leon. Leon is too one-sided. He likes to hit the legs and then throw side kicks. Yes, he is at his peak, but peak Leon is not the same as peak Usman. It doesn’t really matter how hard he trained his takedown defense. He won't be able to handle what I'll do. I will make myself a watchdog, and I will force Leon to surrender. He's a loser. He has already shown that he is ready to give up.”
