Edwards tells Covington: 'I'm not Masvidal'

Leon Edwards, the current UFC welterweight champion, has reached out to his next opponent. Colby Covington, warning that he is not Jorge Masvidal.

“I’m not Masvidal. Jorge was a fighter who had one foot in retirement. He was about to leave and fought Colby just to get the money. I'm not Masvidal. If he thinks otherwise, he’s in for a cold shower,” Edwards said.

Edwards' fight with Covington will take place on December 16 and will headline the 296th UFC event.
