Promoter of former unified world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua Eddie Hearn spoke about his attempt to organize a fight between his client and the former leader of the UFC heavy division Francis Ngannou.
“We have informed Francis’ team that we are willing to discuss his fight against Joshua. We did not receive any answer. I would assume that the Fury-Ngannou rematch has already been agreed upon and will take place immediately after the Tyson-Usyk fight.
It makes no sense for Ngannou to fight little-known fighters right now. In a good way, he can be knocked out by any of the top 50 heavyweights in the world. There are only three boxers who will satisfy his financial appetite - these are Fury, Joshua and Wilder,” the promoter said on The MMA Hour.
