Legendary American former UFC champion in two weight categories Daniel Cormier shared his thoughts on who the belt holder is up against in the lightweight division Islam Makhachev must play the next four matches.

“If Islam plans to compete for a couple more years and fights twice a year, then that’s only four fights. So I think everyone would like to see him fight against Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, maybe Michael Chandler and Mateusz Gamrot or some other young prospect. The main thing is that these are not rematches with those whom he beat before,” Cormier reasoned on his YouTube channel.

Let us remind you that Makhachev previously said that he could hold his next performance in March.
