Haney spoke about moving to welterweight

Devin Haney, world champion in the first welterweight according to the WBC, spoke about a possible transition to welterweight.

“Moving up to welterweight? I don't know. I want to discuss this with my father and we will decide what will happen next. I would like to fight at welterweight, but there are big names in welterweight too. I want to have the biggest fights...” said the boxer.

Let us remember that last Sunday Haney made a successful debut in the junior welterweight division, winning by unanimous decision against Regis Prograis and taking away the championship belt from him.
