Smith commented on Rowntree's defeat

Anthony Smith the former contender for the UFC light heavyweight title commented on his defeat in the fight against Khalil Rountree.

“Congratulations to Khalil and his team. Damn good performance - you earned it. I apologize to everyone who supported me. I gave everything I had. But sometimes that’s not enough,” Smith said.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between Smith and Rountree took place today as part of the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 233, ending with an early victory for Khalil.
