Prograis: “I want to leave boxing and do MMA”

Former world welterweight boxing champion Regis Prograis surprised with his plans after defeat Devin Haney and the loss of the WBC belt.

“I want to become a three-time world champion. It may be too early for that now, but I have something in mind. I want to leave boxing and do MMA. I plan to do this, but first I want to become a champion for the third time.

I had been thinking about it for some time, but I was the champion, so I couldn’t resign. I’m not saying I’ll do it right now, but when I win the belt for the third time, I’ll probably move to MMA,” Prograis said at a press conference.

Let us remember that Proygrace lost to Haney by unanimous decision in the main event of the boxing evening in San Francisco.
