Hamzah Sheeraz is a British professional boxer competing in the middleweight division. He was born on May 25, 1999, in Slough, Berkshire, England, and is of British-Pakistani and Indian descent. Introduced to boxing at a young age through his family—his father and uncle both having boxed—Sheeraz began training seriously in his early teens and soon emerged as a promising amateur talent.
After a successful amateur career, Sheeraz turned professional in 2017 at the age of 18. He quickly gained recognition for his height, reach, and technical skill, building an undefeated record with a series of impressive victories. Initially campaigning at super welterweight, he captured the WBO European title in 2019 and successfully defended it multiple times before moving up in weight.
Sheeraz has continued to climb the ranks with commanding performances, earning praise for his composure, jab accuracy, and finishing ability. As one of Britain’s rising stars, he remains focused on securing world title opportunities and establishing himself as a top contender in the middleweight division.
