Felipe “Jungle Boy” Lima is a Brazilian mixed martial artist competing in the UFC’s bantamweight division. Born in Coari, Amazonas, Brazil, on May 7, 1998, he began his martial arts journey with a background in jiu-jitsu before transitioning to MMA in 2015. His early training took him from the Amazon to Sweden, where he built his career across European and regional circuits, eventually capturing the Oktagon bantamweight title in 2023 .
Lima turned professional in 2015 and rebounded from an initial setback to register 14 consecutive victories before entering the UFC. He made a notable UFC debut on June 22, 2024, at UFC on ABC in Saudi Arabia, submitting Muhammadjon Naimov via rear-naked choke in the third round despite stepping in on short notice. He followed this with a unanimous decision win over Miles Johns at UFC Fight Night in December 2024.
Lima trains out of Allstars Training Center in Sweden, blending jiu-jitsu and striking into a well-rounded skill set. He has earned recognition for his finishing ability, with multiple early stoppages, and his fluid transition between striking and grappling.
Entering UFC 317 in June 2025, Lima brings into the Octagon his unbeaten UFC record, international experience, and technical proficiency. He remains focused on progressing within the division and establishing himself as a consistent top contender.
