Carla Camila Campos González (nicknamed “La Princesa”) is a Bolivian professional boxer from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, competing in the bantamweight division. Born on April 4, 2001, Campos grew up in Santa Cruz, where she took up boxing as a teenager and developed a powerful style suited to the ring.
Professional Career
Campos made her professional debut in April 2018, facing a setback in her first bout but rebounded with multiple early victories. She claimed wins by knockout and technical knockout, accumulating a strong record across regional events. In mid‑2023, Campos competed for the WBC Youth Women's Bantamweight title in France. Although she was stopped by retirement in the fourth round, the match marked her first major title opportunity. She returned to winning form with a first-round TKO in August 2024. However, in October 2024 she suffered a unanimous decision loss while challenging for the WBA International Super Flyweight title in Sweden. Campos most recently returned to form with a TKO win on December 28, 2024, and has now earned an international eliminator bout at Manchester Arena in July 2025—marking a historic first for a Bolivian female boxer on English soil.
An orthodox fighter known for her aggressive knockout power, Campos displays physical strength and finishing instincts. Her trajectory—from local circuits to international eliminator matches—reflects both her ambition and growing status within women’s boxing. She remains focused on capturing a world title, carrying Bolivian boxing onto the global stage with each progressive step in her career.
