Aspinall Returns to Light Training After Eye Surgery Following UFC Heavyweight No-Contest

UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall says he has resumed light training as he continues recovering from an eye injury.

Tom Aspinall has taken a small but important step forward in his recovery, revealing that he is back in the gym for light training while he waits for his vision to fully return. The UFC heavyweight champion is still working his way back from the eye injury that halted his last outing.

"I just got back to the gym and started doing light training, but I’m still waiting for my vision to fully recover," the British heavyweight said.

Aspinall has been sidelined since his fight against Ciryl Gane ended in a no-contest after an eye poke. After that bout, he underwent eye surgery and has remained in recovery ever since.
