UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall supported Jon Jones in his conflict with the promotion.
"Probably sounds crazy to many, but why doesn't the UFC show Jon the financial respect he deserves? To me, it's just madness. If anyone in this sport should be making big money, it's Jon Jones for everything he's done. And I say this considering the whole history I've had with Jon Jones. He was offered thirty million dollars for a fight with me. Why not offer him that amount again? I don't understand," said the British fighter in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
Let me remind you, earlier Jones announced that he would not participate in the tournament at the White House not due to health problems, but because of the amount he was offered for the fight.
