Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland criticized the promotion's pay.

“Nobody gets paid more. What's the new bonus? $50,000? $100,000? If you say ‘no’ to the fight, they'll find some guy in the damn sandbox who'll do it for $5,000 and $5,000. That's how it works. You'll earn more at damn Walmart, dude,” Strickland said.
