Islam Makhachev, the UFC welterweight champion, expressed confidence that former heavyweight boxing world champion Anthony Joshua can prove himself in MMA.

“During a meeting in the UAE, I told Joshua that he also needs to come to Dagestan to improve his wrestling skills. This guy is huge, hits excellently. Anthony is one of the best boxers in the world. If this big guy improves his wrestling, can you imagine how good he will be in MMA?” quoted Makhachev by the Bloody Elbow portal.
