McGregor wants to build the largest statue of Christ in Ireland

The former UFC champion in two weight categories, Conor McGregor, announced his most ambitious idea outside the octagon. The Irish fighter dreams of installing the largest statue of Jesus Christ in Ireland — a monument which, according to him, should become a "grand monument to the faith of our nation."

"Armenia is now building the largest such monument in the world — and it looks simply unbelievable. Bravo to them! Now it's our turn, Ireland, it's time to show ourselves," McGregor wrote on social media, accompanying the post with an energetic appeal to his compatriots.

Let us remind you that the last time McGregor stepped into the octagon was on July 10, 2021, at UFC 264, where he suffered a technical knockout loss to Dustin Poirier due to a leg fracture at the end of the first round.
