Former interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje shared his thoughts on a potential fight with the current full title holder Ilia Topuria.
“I have to trust my experience and ability to gauge distance. I have no other choice, I just need to do everything for victory. In our sport, anything can happen. For me, it will be important not to get caught by Topuria's right punch, although his left hook is also very good.
It's a very cool challenge. I like the feeling that I would be very afraid of Ilia,” Gaethje said in an interview with journalist Carlos Gillespie.
Recall that on January 24, in the main event of UFC 324 in Las Vegas, USA, Gaethje is set to face Paddy Pimblett.
