Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov spoke about his love for football.
"I have watched football all my life and I really love this sport, it's still number one for me. In my youth, my dream was to become a football player, and then I accidentally became a fighter, sometimes that happens, you know?
Where I was born, grew up, and where my father was a coach, I joke that I accidentally became a fighter, but deep down, football was always the main thing for me," Khabib said at the World Sports Summit in Dubai.
Recall that Nurmagomedov retired in 2020. He has 29 wins and no losses in mixed martial arts.
