Former Bellator and ONE champion American Ben Askren appreciated Khamzat Chimaev's victory over Dricus Du Plessis.
In August, the Chechen fighting for the UAE defeated the South African by unanimous decision and won the UFC middleweight title.
"Khamzat looked very confident, but I was disappointed that he chose a safe strategy. He decided not to take risks and didn't inflict much damage on Dricus. Chimaev definitely won, but he spent a long time just lying on top of Dricus," Askren said in an interview with Helen Yee Sports.
