Gaethje called the fight with Pimblett his last chance

Justin Gaethje, a ranked UFC lightweight, made a statement regarding his upcoming fight against Paddy Pimblett. He noted that for him, this fight is the last chance to earn a title shot and become champion.

“I'm excited about this opportunity. It would be foolish to think this is the start of my career. This is my last chance. The opportunity to end my career the way I want is everything I could dream of. I'm fighting Paddy for the interim title. If I win, I'll get a fight with Ilia Topuria. Right now, Ilia is the most dangerous guy in my division, and some believe he's the most dangerous in the world. This is my chance to finish my career exactly the way I've fought all this time.”

Let's recall that the Gaethje vs. Topuria fight will have the interim lightweight champion title at stake.
