Jones: "Diaz is not a gangster"

Former UFC champion in two weight classes American Jon Jones shared his opinion about the former lightweight title contender and compatriot Nate Diaz.

"Nate Diaz is not a gangster. Nate Diaz is a professional athlete. I think he is a father. He is a coach. He is a leader. Yes, he smokes weed and might flip you the finger... But this guy is nothing like a gangster, and he is really a great guy," Jones said on the MMA Uncensored podcast.

Recall that earlier, 40-year-old Diaz stated his readiness to return to the UFC for a fight with Paddy Pimblett.
