Aspinall named the most unexpected UFC victory of the outgoing year

Tom Aspinall, UFC heavyweight champion, named what he believes to be the most unexpected victory of 2025 in the organization.

“Was I surprised by Khamzat's victory in the fight against Du Plessis? No, I wouldn't say that. I assumed that one of them could win convincingly. Plus, I knew how good Khamzat was. I think, for me, more surprising was Magomed Ankalaev's victory in the first fight with Alex Pereira,” said Tom Aspinall on his YouTube channel.
