Makhachev – Della Maddalena: "Let's see whose striking is better"

Former UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev spoke about the upcoming fight with welterweight titleholder Jack Della Maddalena, which will take place in the night of November 16 in New York, USA.

"It's my dream, and I am close to it. Throughout my career, I dreamed of becoming a champion. I took the lightweight belt and now I want to become a champion in a second division. Two days to go. I believe I am still the champion. I haven't lost the belt to anyone. I'm just going for the second one.

At this level, everyone has good striking, Jack is one of the best. But I'm also a good striker — let's see who will be better," Makhachev said at the press conference.
