Dvalishvili announced his goal for the rematch with Yan

UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili stated that in the upcoming rematch with the former belt holder Petr Yan, he intends to achieve a knockout victory.

“It would be nice to get a knockout victory. We all know that no one has managed to finish Petr Yan yet. He has had split decision losses, and, it seems, the only unanimous decision was against me. In any case, he only lost by points, so he is very good. Right now, I'm just focused on this fight: I want to recover and win. But of course, a finish would be the cherry on top,” Dvalishvili is quoted by MMA Junkie.

Let us recall that the Dvalishvili-Yan 2 fight will headline UFC 323, which will be held on December 6 in Las Vegas. In their first fight, which took place in March 2023, the Georgian won by points.
