Makhachev revealed the plan for the fight with Della Maddalena

Former UFC lightweight Islam Makhachev shared his plan for the bout with featherweight champion Jack Della Maddalena, which will take place on the night of November 16 at UFC 322 in New York, USA.

“If wrestling doesn't work in the fight with Jack, I will stand and box with him. Honestly, for me, this is one of the most difficult fights in my career, because Della Maddalena is a large fighter who is good in all aspects. He may not have the best wrestling defense, but his grappling is at a high level,” Makhachev is quoted by the Red Corner MMA account.
