Della Maddalena revealed the plan for the fight against Makhachev

UFC welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena announced his plan for the upcoming fight against the former lightweight division belt holder Islam Makhachev.

The Australian and Dagestani will headline the UFC 322 tournament, which will take place on November 16 in New York, USA.

“Islam has very strong wrestling skills, so I train a lot for wrestling. I will try to prevent him from keeping me down. I'll try to maintain distance. And then, standing, I will have a big advantage,” said Maddalena in an interview with the UFC press service.
